パフォーマンスアーティスト
 
1995年富山県富山市生まれ。2020年東京大学農学部環境資源科学課程緑地環境学専修卒業。2020年よりアーティストとして活動。現在、富山県中新川郡立山町在住。

2021年より自主企画のイベントや、県内外のアートイベント、地域イベント、他のアーティストとのコラボレーションなどの中で、作品を発表。床にばらまいた紙を3日間動かし続けた《流水》（2021年）や、自身の青年期を題材に6日間毎日8時間異なるパフォーマンスを行った《をのこ》（2022年）、6つのサイコロを計8時間振り続けた《6つのサイコロ》 （2024年）など、数時間から数日に渡る、長時間のパフォーマンス作品に特に力を入れています。

また、個人事業主として、中高生への学習指導や学習相談、進学相談（2021年～）、コラム執筆（2021年～）、立山町の古民家を修復し、自身のスペースとしての運営（2025年～）など、地域での教育事業や文化事業に取り組んでいます。

自然やくらし、文化や歴史など、地域の風景から着想を得てパフォーマンスを作ること、またパフォーマンスを通じて得た知識や経験を教育や文化活動へも活かすこと。日々、探求や実践を積み重ねています。

Performance Artist / Independent Educator

Takahiro Ishida is a performance artist and independent educator based in Toyama, Japan. Born on 15 June 1995, he studied Environmental and Resource Sciences at the University of Tokyo before returning to his hometown to begin creating performance works.

His works include Water Run (2021), a three-day act of continuously moving scattered sheets of paper, and Boy (2022), a six-day performance series based on his late adolescence. Through these works, he has developed a deep interest in durational performance as a method for transforming the self — and, by extension, society.

In addition to his artistic practice, he has provided academic tutoring and counseling for junior and senior high school students since 2021, writes columns and essays, and has been renovating and operating a traditional old house in Tateyama as his own cultural space since 2025. He is engaged in both educational and cultural projects rooted in the local community.

Drawing inspiration from the natural environment, everyday life, culture, and history of the region, he creates performances shaped by these landscapes. He also seeks to apply the knowledge and experiences gained through performance to education and community-based cultural activities.
