2021年より自主企画のイベントや、県内外のアートイベント、地域イベント、他のアーティストとのコラボレーションなどの中で、作品を発表しています。
床にばらまいた紙を3日間動かし続けた《流水》（2021年）や、自身の青年期を題材に6日間毎日8時間異なるパフォーマンスを行った《をのこ》（2022年）、6つのサイコロを計8時間振り続けた《6つのサイコロ》 （2024年）など、数時間から数日に渡る、長時間のパフォーマンス作品に特に力を入れています。また、誕生日プレゼントを3日間にわたって来場者から募集する『石田高大の誕生日~誕生日プレゼントvs資本~』（2026年）のように、地域や来場者との関わりを作品にしたプロジェクト的な作品にも積極的です。
パフォーマンスは、身体表現であり、哲学や政治的なメッセージなども持つ、奥深い表現であると考え、実践を積みかさねながら、その可能性探求しています。

Performance art is a form of expression that developed within twentieth-century art.
It is an art of the body, engaging questions of the relationship between mind and body, technology, thought, and political dimensions.

Through self-organized projects, participation in art and community events, and collaborations with other artists, I have presented works in Toyama, across Japan, and internationally. In recent years, I have been particularly engaged in organizing and presenting projects within Toyama Prefecture.

In a contemporary world saturated with information and choices, what can I do with the one and only body I inhabit?
Since 2021, I have developed long-duration works lasting from several hours to several days. These include Water Run (2021), in which I continued moving scattered sheets of paper across the floor for three days, and Boy (2022), a six-day project in which I performed eight hours each day, presenting a different action daily based on my own youth.
The mental state that emerges through sustained action, and the ways in which people transform and grow within time, constitute central themes of my practice.

Since 2026, I have been reading Paul Virilio, known for works such as Speed and Politics, deepening my reflections on time and history, and on time within contemporary society. I attempt to put these reflections into practice not only in my artworks but also in my daily life.
